Reigning Returns

Lately, I have been focused on creating the layout, vision, and goal of this site and the overall brand. I have found that what the late, great Steve Jobs had to say about focus is very prudent. The word No is very important. People will constantly purposely or inadvertently steal your attention, time, energy, and focus. Whether it’s vices like smoking or binge drinking, or clubbing, or just normal everyday things that require you being away from what you’re working on, you must have maintain these things to an absolute minimum. You must remain focused and disciplined in the pursuit of that which you desire. No one is going to go and get it for you. No one will do the work for you or get you to where it is you would like to go. Many people will find you to be some combination of boring, pompous, arrogant, aggressive, or standoffish. If you must decide between you accomplishing your goals and appeasing people and their perceptions of you I’m sure I know which one you would rather pick. We now live in a world with distractions everywhere you look. Keeping your focus on what it is important to your growth, success and elevation is of utmost important. Do not be afraid to use the word No. It is your best friend, greatest ally, and one of the most important tools for you accomplishing your goals.
